Years of Craft

From a Small Kitchen to
a Beloved Destination

Pizza inn began in 2003 when founders Marco and Lisa Delgado opened a tiny 12-table pizzeria on Galloway Avenue in Mesquite, TX. Armed with a hand-built stone oven, recipes passed down from Marco's Italian grandmother, and an unshakeable belief in real ingredients, they set out to offer something different — pizza that actually tastes the way it should.

Word spread fast. Within two years the restaurant had doubled in size. Today, Pizza inn serves hundreds of guests daily, offers online ordering and delivery across the United States, and remains fiercely committed to the same stone-fired quality that started it all. Every pie still leaves the same oven, made by hands that genuinely care.

2003

The First Slice

Marco and Lisa Delgado open Pizza inn at 3003 N Galloway Ave with 12 tables, one stone oven, and grandmother's secret dough recipe.

2005

Doubling Down

Demand outgrows the original space. Pizza inn expands into the adjoining unit, doubling capacity and adding a dedicated prep kitchen.

2009

Catering & Events

We launch our catering division, bringing stone-fired pizza to weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings across the DFW area.

2013

Award-Winning Recipes

Pizza inn wins "Best Pizza in Mesquite" at the Texas Food & Flavor Awards — an honor we've defended every year since.

2018

Online Ordering Launch

We roll out inn-pizza.click and integrate real-time delivery tracking, making it easier than ever to order fresh pizza from anywhere in the United States.

2024

New Menu & Rebrand
